QRM Designs
QRM Designs Pte. Ltd. (“QRM Designs”) understands the need for “theatre” when transitioning between different spaces.
We have good working knowledge of building services, and useful on-site problem-solving ability acquired through the establishment of a Federation of Master Builders accredited Design & Build firm in the UK.
With respect to all our projects, we ensure that all hidden services are very much part of the initial design phase rather than allowing it to become a problematic afterthought.
We have the ability to work from inception to completion – with strong capability in coordinating both local and international project teams.
We possess in-depth knowledge of, and experience with, several high-end award winning residential and commercial projects in Singapore, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.
The Director
Rick Maund – is qualified from the Architectural Association in London, one of the oldest and most respected school of design.
Rick has a diverse and eclectic range of design experience - which range from traditional craftsmen built timber houses in the Malaysian jungles to the massive Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd stage sets. Grade 1 listed buildings in London to studio apartments in Hong Kong.
Rick has also been invited by Westminster University, London to be the Royal Institute of British Architecture Part 3 examiner and Taylors University, Kuala Lumpur as a final year external examiner.
He has previously collaborated with a number of award winning architects - recently QRM Designs was appointed as the on-site design architects for the Agha Khan and PAM gold medal winner Jimmy Lim for his latest Johor (Malaysia) project.
QRM Designs is currently involved in several health and hospitality related and international school/educational projects in Malaysia.
